Working principle of wedge gate valve
Wedge gate valve is one of the common open and close valves. Wedge gate valves are used on both sides of the pipeline to open or close the medium in the pipeline. Wedge gate valve is not allowed to use a small number of openings in the pipeline as an energy-saving device to avoid damage to the sealing surface due to the corrosion of the flowing medium.
The characteristics of wedge gate valve are that the valve body adopts the structure with appropriate process requirements, and the valve body, valve cover inner cavity, valve plate and outer surface of valve stem are in direct contact with medium. All of them are lined with fluoroplastics, such as F46 or F4; the sealing pairs are F4, F46 or other materials, with small friction coefficient and small opening and closing torque. The packing of wedge gate valve adopts F4 standard packing, with good sealing performance and convenient maintenance and replacement. The elastic gate can compensate the sealing surface and valve seat of the gate. Good sealing deviation, good sealing performance and ideal sealing effect. The medium can pass through the gate valve in any direction from both sides, and can be applied to the pipeline which changes with the medium direction as the opening and closing device. The design and manufacture standard of wedge gate valve is GB / T 12234. The length standard is GB / T 12221; the flange dimension standard is Hg / t20592 / ASME B16.5 (or according to the contract); the pressure test standard is GB / T 13927; the mark standard is GB / T 12220; the supply standard is GB / T 12252; the wedge gate valve usually uses the nominal pressure of 1.0 MPa or 1.6 MPa. The nominal diameter is usually DN 15500 mm. The manual gate valves are z41f4, z41f46, z40f4 and z40f46; the gate type of turbine rotary wedge gate valve is z541f4.
